How the website uses storage
Browsers use cookies, local storage, and session storage to retain settings or information that helps a page work. Qutell’s analytics tools do not run until you choose to allow them.
Tools in use
| Tool or key | Type | Purpose | Retention | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| qutell-theme | Local storage | Remembers light or dark appearance | Until removed in the browser | Qutell |
| qutell-proposal-v3 | Local storage | Saves the proposal draft on your device | Until successful submission or browser removal | Qutell |
| qutell-q-signal-splash-v2 | Session storage | Prevents the opening sequence repeating in the same session | Until the browser session ends | Qutell |
| qutell-consent-v1 | Local storage | Remembers your analytics choice | Until changed or removed in the browser | Qutell |
| qutell-visitor-id | Optional local storage | Randomly distinguishes visits in first-party analytics | Until analytics are declined or browser removal | Qutell |
| Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics | Optional analytics | Measures page use and general events | According to tag settings and Google policies |
Necessary and optional tools
Appearance settings, proposal drafts, opening-sequence state, and the consent choice support website and browser functions. First-party analytics and Google Analytics are optional and do not start before you consent.
Changing your choice
You can allow or decline analytics from the panel shown on your first visit, and reopen it with the button below at any time. If you decline, the website stops analytics and removes its local analytics identifier and known Google cookies that it can remove.
Browser controls
You can also remove website data or block storage through browser settings. Removing local storage may restore the default appearance and delete a proposal draft.
